It's Final! Liza Soberano is the New Darna!

Darna movie is the most awaited movie by all Filipinos. The role of Darna was then to be portrayed by Miss Angel Locsin. Locsin has been working on her body to be fit for the role. Suddenly, an accident happened and she had a problem with her back that needed to be operated abroad. Because of this incident, the movie Darna was postponed until Locsin can be physical fit again since there is no other actress that fits perfectly for this role except Miss Angel Locsin.

Unfortunately, after Miss Angel Locsin had done the successful operation she announced to the public that she is no longer physical fit for the role. Due to her final decision, people was dismay about it and still hopes that she will take back was she said and will still portray as Darna.

After that announcement, the network then started choosing who could be the next Darna that would fit the role also. Names of actresses came up like Kathryn Bernardo, Jessy Mendiola, Yassi Pressman, Sarah Geronimo, Liza Soberano, Nadine Lustre and even Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach.
