According to Celia Rodriguez, Angel Locsin is the Best Darna!

Veteran actress Celia Rodriguez is a multi-awarded Filipina actress. She was a part of more than 130 movies and television shows. She won four FAMAS Awards in the movies "Kulay Dugo Ang Gabi", "The Passionate Strangers", "Lilet" and "Magnifico". She is also known as a villainess in many movies especially the "Lipad, Darna, Lipad" trilogy. She was famous for her iconic performance as Valentina in that trilogy.

According to "The Philippine Star", an article written by Ricky Lo, as Celia celebrated her birthday yesterday, June 21, she recalled that the best actress that portrayed the role of Darna is no other than Miss Angel Locsin. They worked together before in Angel Locsin’s 2005 remake of Darna wherein she portrayed the role of antagonist "Bragoda" who came from Outer Space. She chose Angel as the best Darna for the following reasons:

Angel is the best Darna, bar none. She is perfect for the role. She had the figure for it. She was fearless. She refused to have a double even when portions of her body were badly hurt by the harness.

That is the reason why Angel Locsin is a good actress. She is versatile and fearless. And that what makes her the Best Darna ever!
